Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Value Added Engineering / Industrial Engineering professional to establish and lead IE activities across manufacturing operations. The role will be responsible for driving productivity improvement, Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, standard time validation, capacity utilization, OEE improvement and cost reduction.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in precision machining, CNC processes, tooling & fixtures and manufacturing process improvement, preferably within the Aerospace/Defence industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Industrial Engineering function and establish IE systems, processes and standards.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Conduct Time Study, Method Study and Work Measurement and establish/validate standard times.
- Validate standard times for CNC Machining, Assembly and Inspection processes.
- Identify bottlenecks, eliminate non-value-added activities and improve process efficiency.
- Drive line balancing, workflow optimization and capacity utilization.
- Improve OEE, manpower productivity, machine utilization and overall manufacturing efficiency.




- Identify and execute productivity and cost reduction projects.
- Develop and standardize SOPs, work instructions and manufacturing best practices.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
- Drive Kaizen, VSM, 5S and other Lean initiatives.
- Develop and monitor IE KPIs covering productivity, efficiency, OEE, cycle time, capacity and cost.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization of IE processes.
- Lead multiple improvement projects and ensure timely implementation and measurable perks.

Candidate Profile

- 1015 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Value Added Engineering.
- Strong exposure to CNC machining and precision manufacturing processes.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and productivity improvement projects.
- Should have demonstrated experience in improving productivity, cycle time, OEE and manufacturing cost.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Aerospace / Defence industry experience preferred.
