Designation - Assistant Manager / Manager (depending upon years of experience & skills set required for the role)

Roles & Responsibilities -

- Operations Management: Manage the complete import cycle, including tracking vessel schedules,

coordinating with overseas suppliers, and managing freight forwarders, Co-ordination with supplier, CHA, FF, Transport for timely receiving & payment of bills
- Customs & Compliance: Handle Indian Customs procedures, secure necessary licenses (like Bill of Entry filings), and ensure adherence to tariff regulations and foreign trade policies, Having sound knowledge of AEO, EMI, Show Cause Notice, PBA, PCA audit queries & reply, Closure of IDPMS BOE
- Documentation & Finance: Review commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin (COO), and coordinate Letter of Credit (LC)



or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payments with the finance department, LC application and co-ordination with AD bank
- Cost & Vendor Management: Monitor landed costs, freight charges, and duties while negotiating favourable contracts with Custom House Agents (CHA) and shipping lines, Freight forwarders, Transporter, Spend Data Analysis
- Reporting: Maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) records and provide shipment status reports to internal teams.
- System Knowledge : SAP import module, Inventory Module, Advance excel, Power point
- Audit Compliances : Internal & external audit report reply & compliances.
