HR Manager Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle Management, including onboarding, induction, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions and separation.
2. Drive Talent Acquisition and Manpower Planning for technical, non-technical, managerial and factory-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection and salary negotiations.
3. Manage Payroll, Attendance, Leave Management and HRMS, ensuring accurate payroll inputs, employee records and timely monthly processing.
4. Ensure Labour Law and Statutory Compliance, including PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Contract Labour and other applicable statutory requirements.
5. Lead Performance Management, KRA/KPI, Appraisal, Increment and Performance Improvement processes in coordination with HODs and Management.
6. Handle Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Grievance Handling, Discipline, Absenteeism and Conflict Resolution while maintaining a positive workplace setting.
7. Develop,



implement and periodically review HR Policies, SOPs, Employee Handbook and HR Processes in line with business requirements and statutory/compliance standards.
8. Manage Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Employee Welfare and Culture-Building Initiatives, including training calendars and employee interaction programmes.
9. Prepare and analyse HR MIS, HR Dashboards and Management Reports covering manpower, recruitment, attrition, absenteeism, attendance, manpower cost, training and other HR metrics.
10. Partner with Senior Management and Department HODs on workforce planning, organisational development, talent management, employee retention and overall HR strategy, with a focus on Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing HR and Audit Readiness.
