We are seeking an experienced Manager / General Manager Commercial & Business Operations to oversee the key non-production functions of our Printing business.

This position will be responsible for commercial operations, procurement, supply chain, inventory, customer coordination, costing, dispatch, administration and overall business coordination.

The role will work closely with the Production Head but will not be directly responsible for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee commercial aspects of customer orders from enquiry to dispatch and payment.
- Review quotations, costing, pricing and commercial terms.
- Monitor customer-wise and product-wise profitability.
- Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Production, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch and Accounts.
- Ensure customer orders are properly followed up and delivered on schedule.
- Manage procurement of Printing raw materials including films, foil, inks, coatings, adhesives, solvents and consumables.
- Negotiate supplier prices, payment terms, lead times and commercial conditions.
- Develop alternate suppliers and reduce procurement risk.
- Monitor raw-material price trends and availability.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and reduce slow-moving and non-moving stock.
- Monitor finished-goods inventory and dispatch planning.
- Oversee logistics and transportation cost.
- Monitor receivables,



customer credit and working capital in coordination with Accounts.
- Review costing and actual versus estimated margins.
- Coordinate customer complaints with Quality and Production teams.
- Ensure timely closure of customer-service issues.
- Support management in budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Improve ERP discipline, MIS reporting and interdepartmental coordination.
- Oversee general administration and other non-production business functions as required.
- Establish systems, accountability and performance monitoring across departments.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Packaging or related discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or Marketing preferred.
- Approximately 10 to 20+ years of relevant experience, depending on seniority.
- Experience in Printing, printing, plastics, converting or related manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of procurement, costing, inventory and supply chain.
- Valuable commercial and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer-management and coordination abilities.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and department heads.

Salary: 1 Lac + per month or Commensurate with experience and capability.
