We are looking for an experienced Manager / General Manager Production & Plant Operations to lead the manufacturing operations of our Printing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for overall production performance, plant efficiency, quality, waste reduction, manpower management, process control and timely completion of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations across printing, coating, lamination, slitting, rewinding, inspection and converting.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Improve machine utilisation, productivity and overall plant efficiency.
- Reduce wastage, rejection, rework and production downtime.
- Monitor production planning and ensure effective utilisation of manpower, machines and materials.
- Ensure correct process parameters for printing, coating, lamination, curing and converting.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Planning departments.
- Troubleshoot production and process-related problems.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing defects.
- Improve yield of films, inks, coatings, adhesives, solvents and other raw materials.




- Ensure preventive maintenance and minimise machine breakdowns.
- Develop and train supervisors, engineers, operators and shop-floor personnel.
- Maintain discipline, housekeeping, 5S and safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and review production MIS covering output, wastage, downtime, productivity and delivery performance.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and process standardisation.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Printing, Polymer, Packaging or related discipline preferred.
- Approximately 10 to 20+ years of manufacturing experience, depending on seniority.
- Robust experience in Printing, printing, coating, lamination or converting preferred.
- Good knowledge of Printing materials such as PET, BOPP, CPP, PE, metallised films and foil.
- Experience with gravure and/or flexographic printing, lamination, coating and slitting will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good problem-solving and technical ability.
- Ability to work under production and delivery pressure.

Salary: 1 Lac + or Commensurate with experience and capability.
