Formwork Planning & Execution

- Plan and manage formwork activities as per project requirements and construction schedules.
- Review formwork drawings, method statements, and construction sequences.
- Select and implement suitable formwork systems based on project requirements.
- Ensure proper planning of formwork materials, manpower, equipment, and resources.
- Coordinate with the execution team for smooth and timely formwork operations.
- Monitor erection, alignment, leveling, shuttering, de-shuttering, and shifting of formwork systems.

Material & Resource Management

- Plan and monitor the availability and utilization of formwork materials.
- Maintain proper inventory and records of formwork materials and accessories.
- Minimize material wastage, damage, and unnecessary handling.
- Coordinate with procurement/stores teams for timely availability of required materials.
- Optimize manpower and equipment utilization.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, Safety, Planning, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with design/engineering teams for any formwork-related technical issues.
- Resolve site-level formwork problems and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide updates on formwork progress.

Productivity & Cost Control

- Monitor formwork productivity and ensure achievement of project targets.
- Track formwork cycle time and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Control project costs related to manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.




- Develop and implement methods to improve formwork efficiency and reduce cycle time.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Robust knowledge of RCC construction and formwork systems.
- Knowledge of conventional, modular, aluminium, steel, climbing, table, and other specialized formwork systems.
- Strong understanding of formwork drawings and construction methodologies.
- Good knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.
- Strong manpower and subcontractor management skills.
- Planning, coordination, and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts under tight project timelines.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant construction/project management tools.

Educational Qualification Essential: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

Preferred: Additional certification or training in formwork, scaffolding, construction safety, or project management.

Experience

- 10–15 years of relevant experience in formwork and RCC construction.
- Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or precast projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in managing large formwork teams and multiple construction fronts will be preferred.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
