Job Overview:

The Manager - Finance supports United States accounting operations from Hyderabad, reporting to the Controller of ISSQUARED, Inc. The position owns assigned areas of the month-end close, the purchasing and procurement accounting cycle, and subsidiary ledger reconciliation across the United States, Canada, and Guam.

This is a hands-on accounting role in a multi-entity enterprise resource planning setting. The person in this position is expected to carry assigned processes end to end, document them, and raise and resolve issues without being managed through them.

Key Responsibilities

Execute assigned month-end close activities against the published close calendar, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, supporting schedules, and account tie-outs.

Reconcile subsidiary ledgers across the United States, Canada, and Guam, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash, fixed assets, and debt.

Own the purchasing and procurement accounting cycle, including purchase order to receipt to invoice matching, vendor accounting, purchase price variance analysis, and open commitment reporting.

Prepare and maintain deferral and accrual schedules, and support sales and commission reconciliations.





Prepare intercompany schedules and supporting detail and support cost allocation and segment reporting.

Manage Accounts Receivable collections activity and prepare customer credit analysis.

Prepare recurring financial reporting for Finance and Operations, including dimensional and entity-level reporting from the enterprise resource planning system.

Document standard operating procedures for assigned processes and support internal control testing.

Identify reconciliation, close, reporting, and process issues, and drive them to resolution with Finance and Operations stakeholders.

Apply artificial intelligence enabled tools to finance and data workflows, maintaining data validation and financial controls at each step.

Perform other duties and responsibilities typical of a Manager - Finance

Required Qualifications

Six to eight years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliation.

Hands-on experience in a multi-entity enterprise resource planning environment with dimensional reporting.

Experience supporting accounting across multiple legal entities, geographies, or business units.

Procurement accounting experience, including purchase order to receipt to invoice matching and vendor accounting.

Advanced Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and reconciliation of large data sets.

Written English sufficient to produce professional memoranda, workpapers, standard operating procedures, and financial documentation without rework.

Ability to work independently across time zones and meet published close deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including financial dimensions and geography and entity structures.

Intercompany accounting, allocations, and segment reporting.

Purchase price variance and open commitment reporting.

Accounts Receivable collections and customer credit analysis.

Current working use of Claude or comparable artificial intelligence tools in a finance or data context.

Experience supporting United States accounting from an offshore location.
