Job Role: Assistant Manger

Job Location: Mumbai

Key Focus: The primary focus of this role is to independent management of Income Tax compliances including TDS, tax audits, transfer pricing, providing in-house advisory & handling assessments/litigations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Direct Tax

Actively involved with Tax Audit, TP compliances and ITR filings both domestic and foreign companies (including Advance Tax and DTA/DTL computations)

Reconciliation of TDS/TCS ledger to make monthly payment of TDS/TCS to govt. Able to handle filing of TDS/TCS quarterly. Releasing of o/s demands from TRACES by revising returns.

Handling queries received from teams pertaining to TDS/TCS deduction & providing timely response.

Able to prepare & handle various Income Tax Forms under Old/Recent Income Tax Act

Updated with relevant changes in laws, judicial cases etc.



Identification Tax Risk areas and suggest preventative measures.

Handling on-going assessments, legacy litigation cases and updating relevant stakeholders for the same

Support with respect to ESOP, Payroll, gratuity and superannuation compliance

Provide timely and accurate direct tax advisory support on routine as well as complex issues to business units.

Should be able to handle cross-border transactions (DTAA, OECD, Pillar II etc)

Role Specific Knowledge and Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Post qualification work experience of 4-5 years in a corporate tax (Big6)

Should be well-versed with the taxation rules, concepts and updates related to the Income Tax Act and International taxation.
