Manager – Direct Tax

Qualification: CA Inter Qualified / CA Inter – 1st Group Cleared

Experience: Audit / CA Firm Experience Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced tax qualified to join our Direct Tax team in a managerial capacity. The role will involve managing income-tax compliance, return filings, litigation matters, and client engagements, while coordinating with the team to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Income Tax return filing and compliance for clients
- Handle and coordinate Direct Tax litigation and assessment matters
- Review tax computations, returns and related workings
- Research and interpret applicable Income Tax provisions
- Prepare and review responses to notices and departmental communications
- Coordinate with clients and tax authorities, as required
- Supervise and review the work of team members
- Ensure timely completion of assignments and statutory deliverables
- Identify tax issues and escalate key matters appropriately

Technical Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of Income Tax




- Experience in IT return filing and Direct Tax litigation
- Good knowledge of tax notices, assessments and related proceedings
- Strong MS Excel and documentation skills
- Good research, analytical and drafting abilities

Compensation is flexible and will not be a constraint for the right candidate with exceptional skills, relevant experience, and a strong fit for the role. Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
