The position is responsible for Project Accounting, Statutory compliance, processing of bills and preparation of MIS, and all finance and accounts related work at site.
Key Accountabilities
- Timely Submission of MIS and Budgetary controls on monthly basis.
- Timely payment of Statutory dues and all outstanding bills.
Strategic
- Cost optimization
- Internal Audit Control effectiveness
Operational
- Capture all financial transactions originating at site
- Accounting for project- related payment, for invoices received at site/ region,
- Such as: Contractor Running Accounts bills, Materials purchased etc.
- Capture of all project costs at appropriate level of detail.
- Record keeping of local assets.
- Site related MIS reporting like Budget v/s Actual.
- Perform inventory accounting for the company material at site.
- Issue and receipt of material.
- Maintaining stock register and bill register (both in tally and excel).
- Maintain Bank Reconciliation Statement.
- Handle all Petty cash
- Maintain society accounts (in interim period prior to handover to society).
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Ensure statutory compliance of contractors related to site and vendors.
- Maintain the administrative details like attendance, leave records etc.
