AB InBev India is looking to hire Manager - Corporate Affairs and Community Outreach based out of Mysore , Karnataka

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, Panchayats, community representatives, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and execute a proactive stakeholder engagement calendar, including periodic meetings and visits.
- Collaborate with Corporate Affairs and CSR teams to design and implement community engagement and CSR initiatives.
- Draft applications, letters, representations, and official correspondence for various departments of the Karnataka Government.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to secure and maintain statutory approvals, operational licenses, and permits.
- Build operational understanding of brewery excise requirements and other licenses necessary for uninterrupted operations.
- Anticipate regulatory and stakeholder priorities and plan appropriate interventions in advance.
- Represent the organization as the primary point of contact for external government and community bodies.




- Partner with plant leadership to strengthen plant administration and position the brewery positively within the local community and allied ecosystem.
- Work collaboratively with Legal, Government Affairs, Sustainability, Procurement, Finance, Tax, People, Sales, Supply, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and CSR teams.

Key Qualifications & Profile Requirements

- Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline; a qualification in Law is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with Central or State Government authorities, Panchayats, regulatory bodies, and other public institutions.
- Exposure to the Alcobev or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of Karnataka State Excise rules, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Fluency in Kannada is mandatory.
- Solid written, verbal, presentation, and official correspondence skills.
- Confidence in engaging with bureaucrats and senior government officials using subject knowledge and logical reasoning.
- High-energy, solution-oriented, adaptable, and resilient approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- High standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
