Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage Project Accounting, Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis functions.

- Drive month-end and year-end financial closing activities ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Oversee inventory valuation, cost allocations, variance analysis, and management reporting processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, annual operating plans, and financial performance reviews.
- Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights on EBIT, profitability, cost optimization, and business growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, audit requirements, and risk management policies.
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and digital transformation projects.
- Support finance activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and business integrations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams while driving service excellence and continuous improvement.





Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration.

- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
- 8-12+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, Controlling, Costing, Financial Reporting, or Shared Services.
- Solid expertise in SAP FICO/MM, SAP FI/CO, Cost & Profitability Management, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;).
- Hands-on experience in month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and profitability analysis.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and working with senior stakeholders in global environments.
- Experience in Global Business Services (GBS) / Shared Services organizations is highly preferred.
- Exposure to finance transformation, process automation, and digital finance initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
