Job Summary The Maintenance In-Charge will be responsible for the overall maintenance, upkeep, safety, and smooth functioning of the centre premises, infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the centre.

- Ensure proper maintenance of buildings, classrooms, hostels, old age home, kitchen, staff quarters, and common areas.

- Handle and monitor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, painting, and repair works.

- Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and vendors for maintenance and repair requirements.

- Supervise and allocate work to maintenance and support staff.

- Ensure regular preventive maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, equipment, vehicles, and other assets.

- Monitor the maintenance of gardens, grounds, roads, drainage, and surrounding areas.

- Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of water supply, pumps, generators, and other utilities.

- Identify maintenance requirements and ensure timely completion of repair works.

- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, materials, assets, and service schedules.

- Monitor the usage and availability of maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts.





- Ensure proper care and maintenance of centre vehicles and equipment.

- Attend to emergency maintenance requirements and take immediate corrective action.

- Ensure the premises are maintained in a secure, clean, and functional condition.

- Coordinate with the Centre In-Charge and Management regarding major maintenance requirements and expenses.

- Ensure compliance with Sevalaya's safety procedures, policies, and guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

- ITI / Diploma / Any relevant technical qualification.

- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.

- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, and general maintenance work.

- Good supervisory, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage staff, technicians, and external vendors.

- Responsible, proactive, and capable of handling emergency situations.

- Basic computer and documentation skills.

- Willingness to stay at the centre,

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
