Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Electrician role based at the Venus Pipes and Tubes Limited facility in Gandhidham.

The Maintenance

Electrician will perform routine and corrective electrical maintenance on production machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure. Daily tasks include inspecting electrical systems, diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and executing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. The role involves working with panels, motors, wiring, and control systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Electrician will collaborate with production and maintenance teams, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support continuous improvement in equipment reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and a sound understanding of Electricity principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of industrial electrical equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance for machinery, electrical panels, and control systems.
- ITI in Electrical or related field from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing plant maintenance, ideally in metal or pipe/tube production, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe use of tools and test instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, and maintain clear maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shifts and as part of a diverse team.
