Job Summary The Maintenance Operator is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of the hotel’s equipment, machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and other engineering facilities. The role ensures that all systems and facilities remain safe, functional, and operational with minimum disruption to hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspection of hotel equipment, machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other engineering installations.
- Attend to maintenance requests and breakdown complaints from various departments promptly.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and equipment-related issues.
- Monitor the proper functioning of pumps, motors, generators, air-conditioning systems, water systems, and other essential equipment.
- Carry out routine checks of electrical panels, switches, lighting systems, sockets, and related installations.
- Attend to plumbing-related issues such as leakages, blockages, taps, flush systems, and water supply lines.
- Assist in the maintenance and servicing of kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other operational machinery.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance work, breakdowns, repairs, and equipment status.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used properly and kept in good working condition.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and report any abnormalities immediately.
- Coordinate with other departments to attend to maintenance requirements without affecting guest services.




- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the work area after completing maintenance activities.
- Follow all hotel safety procedures, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while carrying out maintenance activities.
- Report major breakdowns, safety hazards, and equipment failures to the Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer.
- Assist external technicians and contractors during servicing, installation, or repair work when required.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations as and when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in hotel engineering, facility maintenance, or a similar setting will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic technical problems.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical system, and other engineering facilities.

Working Conditions
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational requirements.

- The role may involve working in mechanical rooms, plant areas, guest rooms, kitchens, and other operational areas.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹10,500.00 per month
