Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, along with a solid understanding of platform and product development. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our software solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions on the platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Manage and optimize Mainframe IMS databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement best practices for database management, including backup, recovery, and security protocols.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database queries and applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance product offerings.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications for future reference.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong knowledge of Mainframe IMS DBA, including database design, administration, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to platform development.
- Experience with database management tools and utilities.




- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with other database management systems.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their integration with mainframe systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in database management or software development are a plus.
