Job Summary:

FOR YOU MART is looking for an experienced Loss Prevention Manager – Retail to protect the company’s cash, inventory, assets and operational processes across its supermarket outlets and Distribution Centre.

The selected candidate will conduct store and DC audits, monitor inventory shrinkage, verify cash and digital-payment transactions, review CCTV footage, investigate fraud and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

This is not a general security-guard management role. Candidates must possess practical experience in retail audit, inventory control, POS transactions, CCTV investigation and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

- Control inventory shrinkage, stock shortages, damages and expiry losses
- Conduct scheduled and surprise audits at stores and the Distribution Centre
- Audit cash, UPI, cards, refunds, bill cancellations, discounts and price overrides
- Review suspicious POS and inventory transactions
- Investigate theft, fraud, employee misconduct and policy violations
- Review CCTV footage and preserve supporting evidence
- Verify GRN, inward, outward, stock transfers and vendor returns
- Audit damaged, expired, disposed and written-off inventory
- Prepare fact-based investigation and loss-prevention reports




- Assign and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Train store and DC teams on loss-prevention controls
- Escalate major fraud or financial loss directly to Management

Candidate Requirements:

- Graduate in Commerce, Retail Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of total professional experience
- Minimum 3 years in Retail Loss Prevention, Internal Audit, Inventory Control or Fraud Investigation
- Experience in supermarket, hypermarket, FMCG, fashion, pharmacy or other organised retail businesses
- Solid knowledge of CCTV monitoring, inventory transactions and POS reports
- Working knowledge of Excel and ERP/POS systems
- Strong investigation, analytical and report-writing abilities
- High integrity and confidentiality
- Fluent in Odia and Hindi with working knowledge of English
- Willing to travel extensively across Odisha

Candidates with only Security Guard or Security Supervisor experience and without retail audit, POS and inventory-control exposure will not be considered.
