I am setting up a new technology company with its registered base in Assam, building a platform for the media, entertainment, advertising, events and creative ecosystem.
I am looking for a Guwahati-based founding partner who can help build our Assam and Northeast presence from the ground up.
You don’t necessarily need to be a hardcore tech person. I am looking for someone with a combination of:
- Good understanding of Assam/Guwahati and the local ecosystem
- Comfortable communicating in Assamese, Hindi and English
- Basic understanding of technology/startups OR media/film/events
- Good administrative and coordination skills
- Ability to work with government departments, institutions, incubators and local businesses
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to get things moving rather than waiting for instructions
- Most importantly, integrity,
dependability and the ability to take ownership The role will initially involve helping establish the company in Guwahati, building local relationships and coordinating our startup/institutional activities. Over time, it can evolve into leading our Assam & Northeast operations.
I am looking for someone who sees this not simply as a job, but as an prospect to build something from Assam that can eventually have a national footprint.
