**Role - Looker Developer

Experience: 5~12 years of experience

Location - Bangalore (Client office - Hybrid role - 3 Days a week)**

We are looking for a skilled **Looker

Developer** with strong experience in Business Intelligence and data visualization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Looker development, Snowflake data warehouse, and modern BI reporting solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable analytical dashboards and data models to support business decision-making.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Looker .

Build and manage LookML models, Explores, Views, Looks, and Dashboards.

Develop optimized semantic layers and data models based on business requirements.

Work with Snowflake as the backend data warehouse and ensure efficient query performance.

Follow Looker development best practices for scalability, governance, security, and performance.

Collaborate with business stakeholders,



data engineers, and analysts to understand reporting and analytics requirements.

Create reusable data definitions and standardized metrics across the organization.

Utilize and support Looker 's shared consumption portal and associated collaboration features.

Perform dashboard optimization, troubleshooting, testing, and production support activities.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance standards.

Required Skills

2–5 years of hands-on experience in Looker dashboard development.

4–8 years of overall BI development experience using visualization tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, or similar BI platforms.

Strong experience with LookML, Looks, Explores, and Dashboard development.

Experience working with Snowflake as a backend database.

Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and BI architecture.

Knowledge of Looker best practices, performance tuning, and governance.

Familiarity with Looker 's shared consumption portal, scheduling, permissions, and collaboration features.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.

Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing methodologies.

Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Experience integrating Looker with enterprise reporting and analytics environments.

Nice to Have

Snowflake certifications or Looker -related certifications.

Experience in migrating dashboards from Tableau/Business Objects to Looker .

Knowledge of data governance and security implementations within BI platforms.
