Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator with strong expertise in Pacemaker, Corosync, High Availability (HA), and Linux infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for managing business-critical Linux environments, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and clustering issues, handling major incidents, and driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) infrastructure and ensure reliable day-to-day service delivery.
- Define, monitor, and achieve service KPIs and SLAs while maintaining high levels of operational quality.
- Troubleshoot complex Pacemaker, Corosync, Linux OS, and infrastructure-related issues across enterprise environments.
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot High Availability (HA) and clustering solutions, particularly using Pacemaker.
- Analyze and resolve architectural and design issues within existing Pacemaker/HA environments.
- Develop and implement automation and scripting solutions to improve infrastructure stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Standardize and simplify server administration and operational processes using automation and DevOps tools.
- Participate in major incident management, service request failures, outages, downtime extensions, and long-running incidents.
- Provide timely technical support during critical escalations and proactively identify potential issues to prevent recurring incidents.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for service failures, outages, performance issues, and infrastructure incidents.




- Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans, including mitigation and remediation steps.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, network, and other technical teams to resolve complex issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on system stability, operational efficiency, automation, and customer experience.
- Identify customer pain points and implement enhancements to improve overall service delivery and infrastructure reliability.

Essential Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
- Strong expertise in Pacemaker and Corosync.
- Good understanding of High Availability, clustering, and failover mechanisms.
- Experience troubleshooting complex Linux infrastructure issues.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Shell/Bash scripting and infrastructure automation.
- Experience in Incident Management, Major Incident Management, and RCA.
- Good understanding of SLA/KPI-driven service delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in enterprise production environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents and escalations.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to DevOps and automation tools.
- Experience with infrastructure standardization and operational automation.
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale HA architectures.
- Experience with continuous improvement and service reliability initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Linux Infrastructure/System Administrator with 6–8 years of experience, including robust hands-on expertise in RHEL, Pacemaker, Corosync, High Availability, clustering, troubleshooting, automation, and production support.
