Role & responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in production, UAT, and DR environments.

- Perform OS installation, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and system hardening.

- Configure and manage LVM, multipath, NFS, Samba, and storage administration.

- Monitor server performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization.

- Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.

- Manage system logs, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

RHSSO / RHBK (Key cloak) Administration

- Install, configure, and manage RHSSO/RHBK environments.

- Configure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML integrations.

- Integrate RHSSO/RHBK with:

- Active Directory (AD)

- RHEL administration

- Package management (RPM, YUM, DNF)

- LDAP

- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

- Third-party applications

- Connection failures

- Authentication problems

- Certificate-related issues

- Database corruption and recovery

- Configure Identity Federation and User Federation.

- Manage realms, clients, users, roles, groups, and policies.

- Perform backup, recovery, clustering, and high availability setup.

- Troubleshoot authentication issues and token-related problems.

- Support migration from RHSSO to RHBK versions where applicable.

- Install, configure, and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases.

- Manage database availability, backups, restoration, and disaster recovery.

- Monitor SQL Server performance and optimize queries.

- Configure and maintain Always on Availability Groups and clustering.

- Perform database patching and upgrades.

- Manage security,



user access, roles, and permissions.

- Support application teams in database-related troubleshooting.

- Implement server hardening in line with security best practices.

- Conduct vulnerability remediation and security patch management.

- Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

- Implement certificate management, SSL/TLS configuration, and key management.

- Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.

- Develop automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.

- Support CI/CD integrations where required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 7 + years managing RHSSO/RHDS/RHBK/Key cloak experience in enterprise environments along with enterprise IT infrastructure and identity systems
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL, SSO, OAuth flows, Security and compliance frameworks (e.g. RBI, ISMS, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Certifications: Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE preferred, along with Microsoft SQL Server certification are highly preferred.

Mandatory Skills

- 6–8 years of Linux Administration experience.
- Robust hands-on experience with RHEL 7/8/9.
- Experience administering RHSSO or RHBK (Key cloak).
- Good knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML protocols.
- Experience integrating Key cloak/RHSSO with Active Directory and LDAP.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management.
- HA/DR Configuration and Management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
