Position: Electrician – C License Holder

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician with a valid C License to handle electrical maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and safety compliance across the institution's campus. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted and safe operation of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine electrical maintenance and repair work across the campus.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, panels, distribution boards, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
- Monitor and maintain LT electrical systems, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and other electrical installations.
- Identify electrical faults and attend to breakdowns promptly.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems in classrooms, offices, hostels, laboratories, and other campus facilities.
- Maintain electrical panels, MCBs, MCCBs, DBs, cables, switches, sockets, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with external electrical contractors and service providers when required.
- Maintain records of electrical maintenance, inspections, repairs, and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and institutional safety procedures.




- Conduct regular inspection of electrical installations and report potential hazards.
- Assist during electrical inspections and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure safe isolation and proper lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance work.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns as required.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Valid C License / Electrical Supervisor License as applicable.
- Experience: 3–7 years in electrical maintenance, preferably in an educational institution, hospital, commercial building, hotel, manufacturing unit, or large campus.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, DG sets, UPS, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.
