Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage PCB component libraries across ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Siemens/Mentor Xpedition, and Zuken.

- Establish and enforce library standards, governance processes, naming conventions, quality controls, and best practices.
- Create, review, and approve schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models while ensuring compliance with IPC standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Manage customer-specific library requirements and ensure adherence to individual customer standards and processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ library engineers, driving performance, capability development, and delivery excellence.
- Ensure component data accuracy, including electrical parameters, package information, lifecycle status, and approved manufacturer/vendor details.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, sourcing,



and manufacturing teams to support new product development and business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, audits, and library governance initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile Strong expertise in PCB Library Management and Component Engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Altium 365, Cadence Allegro EDM/CIS, and Siemens Xpedition EDM.
- Thorough understanding of IPC standards (IPC-7351, IPC-2221, IPC-A-610)
- Experience managing customer-specific component libraries and enterprise library systems.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration skills.
- Experience driving governance, quality improvement, and automation initiatives.
