Role Purpose The Liaison Manager will work closely with Site GMs to understand and resolve on-ground civic, statutory and neighbourhood-related issues impacting the seamless functioning of project sites.
The role will act as the site-level liaison interface with local authorities, while working closely with the Corporate Liaisoning Team for guidance, support and escalation wherever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly coordinate with Site GMs to understand on-ground challenges, operational bottlenecks and civic issues affecting site functioning.
- Identify and facilitate resolution of issues including:
- Illegal encroachments
- Illegal parking and traffic-related concerns
- Potholes and road-condition issues
- Traffic management and site access
- Peripheral road and area beautification
- Civic cleanliness and infrastructure issues
- Stray animal/dog management
- Vaccination and sterilisation of stray dogs in coordination with relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with BMC, TMC, KDMC, RTO, Police and other relevant government/local authorities, depending on the location and nature of the issue.
- Work closely with the Corporate Liaisoning Team for guidance, coordination, escalation and support on matters requiring corporate-level intervention or engagement with senior government authorities.
- Maintain regular communication with the Corporate Liaisoning Team and ensure site-level issues are appropriately escalated and followed through to closure.
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with relevant municipal, police, RTO and other government officials.
- Understand applicable processes, documentation and statutory requirements and ensure necessary formalities are completed within defined timelines.
- Follow up on applications, permissions, NOCs, complaints, inspections and other required actions until closure.
- Support Site GMs in resolving recurring civic and local-authority issues to ensure smooth and uninterrupted site operations.
- Maintain a structured tracker of open issues, authorities involved, actions taken, timelines and closure status.
- Proactively identify potential civic/statutory issues and coordinate preventive action.
- Escalate critical, sensitive or unresolved matters to the Corporate Liaisoning Team / senior management with clear status and recommended action.
