Job Purpose The role will support the Legal team in handling day-to-day legal matters related to real estate transactions, property documentation, contracts, regulatory compliance, and litigation. The candidate will work closely with internal business teams, external legal counsels, customers, consultants, and government authorities to ensure timely and effective legal support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Real Estate & Property Documentation

- Assist in reviewing and drafting sale agreements, sale deeds, development agreements, joint development agreements, lease agreements, MoUs, POAs, and other property-related documents.
- Conduct preliminary review of property documents and title-related records.
- Assist in title due diligence and preparation of title reports.
- Coordinate with external advocates and consultants for property due diligence and legal opinions.
- Support documentation related to property acquisition, development, sale, lease, and transfer.

2. Contract Management

- Draft, review, and vet various commercial and business agreements.
- Assist in reviewing vendor agreements, consultancy agreements, service agreements, work orders, NDAs, and other contracts.
- Ensure agreements are aligned with company policies and approved commercial terms.
- Maintain proper records of executed agreements and contractual documents.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties for execution and closure of agreements.

3. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

- Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable real estate laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.




- Support documentation and compliance related to RERA and other applicable real estate regulations.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for obtaining and maintaining statutory approvals and documentation.
- Track key legal and regulatory updates affecting the real estate business.

4. Litigation & Dispute Management

- Assist in maintaining records of ongoing litigation, arbitration, consumer matters, RERA cases, and other legal proceedings.
- Coordinate with external advocates for case updates, documentation, hearings, and filings.
- Prepare case summaries, legal notices, replies, and supporting documentation under the guidance of senior legal team members.
- Maintain a litigation tracker and ensure timely follow-up on pending matters.

5. Customer & Business Support

- Provide legal support to Sales, Projects, Finance, Procurement, HR, and other business functions.
- Assist in reviewing customer-related documentation and correspondence.
- Support resolution of legal queries raised by customers and internal stakeholders.
- Review legal implications of business proposals and transactions and escalate risks to senior management.

6. Legal Research & Advisory

- Conduct legal research on relevant property laws, contract laws, RERA, land laws, corporate laws, and other applicable regulations.
- Prepare legal notes, summaries,



and opinions for review by senior members of the Legal team.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, government notifications, and court judgments.

7. Documentation & Legal MIS

- Maintain an organized database of legal agreements, property documents, notices, cases, and approvals.
- Prepare periodic legal MIS and status reports.
- Track agreement renewals, expiry dates, statutory timelines, court hearings, and other critical deadlines.
- Ensure proper documentation and retrieval of legal records.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Good understanding of real estate and property laws.
- Basic knowledge of RERA, Contract Law, Land Laws, Registration, Stamp Duty, and related regulations.
- Strong drafting and contract-review skills.
- Good legal research and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
- 13 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer,

construction company, law firm, or corporate legal team.
- Candidates with exposure to property documentation, RERA, title due diligence, contracts, and real estate transactions will be preferred.
- Prior experience handling matters in residential, commercial, high-rise, plotted, or mixed-use real estate projects will be an added advantage.
