ROLE OVERVIEW

Kinetic Green seeks a hands-on, commercially oriented legal skilled to independently manage litigation, commercial contracts, IPR and day-to-day legal advisory. The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, sound knowledge of Indian laws and the ability to partner with business teams while identifying and mitigating legal risk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Litigation &
- Disputes: Manage and monitor civil, criminal, consumer, commercial, contractual and other disputes; review legal notices, complaints, pleadings and replies; coordinate with external counsel; maintain litigation tracker, exposure and case strategy; support settlement, mediation, arbitration and preventive actions.

- Contracts Drafting &

- Negotiation: Draft, review and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, supply/vendor, dealer/distributor, customer, lease/facility, technology/software, marketing, logistics, AMC/service, consultancy and strategic collaboration/MoU agreements; advise on indemnity, liability, warranties, termination, IP, confidentiality and dispute resolution.

- Contract Management: Maintain contract repository and lifecycle tracker; monitor execution, renewals, obligations, milestones, notices, breaches and termination rights; ensure approvals/signing authority and support CLM processes.

- IPR: Support trademarks, copyrights, patents, designs, domain names, trade secrets and know-how; coordinate registrations/oppositions/renewals; review brand/product names and IP ownership/licensing; assist with infringement and enforcement matters.

- Legal Advisory: Provide practical legal advice to Sales, Procurement, Finance, HR, Manufacturing, R&D;, Technology, Marketing, After-Sales and Customer Service; conduct legal research; prepare opinions, notes and risk-mitigation recommendations.

- Consumer &





- Regulatory: Advise on customer complaints, warranty/service disputes and Consumer Commission matters; support legally compliant customer-facing terms, policies and communications; identify recurring risks.

- Compliance &

- Legal Operations: Support legal compliance reviews, audits, policies and SOPs; maintain MIS for litigation/contracts/IPR; manage external counsel and costs; maintain legal templates, precedents and knowledge repositories; support legal-tech adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS &

- EXPERIENCE

- LLB / B.L. from a recognised university with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in an in-house legal team or law firm.

- Demonstrated experience in civil/criminal/consumer litigation, commercial contracting, contract negotiation and management, and IPR matters.

- Experience in automotive, EV, manufacturing, engineering, technology or consumer products is preferred.
