Job Title: Legal Consultant Real Estate (Contractual – 6 Months)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic legal professional with experience in real estate transactions to support the Legal Department on a fixed-term contractual basis. The role involves handling title due diligence, transaction documentation, regulatory compliances, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel for land acquisition and real estate matters.Key Responsibilities

- Conduct title due diligence for land and property acquisitions across India.
- Review and draft conveyance deeds, sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, MOUs, powers of attorney, indemnities, and other real estate documents.
- Examine title reports, search reports, revenue records, and identify title risks.
- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, government authorities, and registration offices.
- Support land acquisition, leasing, mortgage creation, and post-acquisition compliance activities.
- Advise internal business teams on real estate laws, land regulations,



and transaction structures.
- Maintain transaction records, legal trackers, and document repositories.
- Assist in handling litigation relating to land and real estate matters, wherever required.

Qualifications & Experience

- LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. preferred).
- 10 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law.
- Experience in title due diligence, land acquisition, and property documentation is essential.
- Prior experience with a reputed law firm or in-house legal team of a large corporate will be preferred.

Desired Skills

- Strong knowledge of property laws, land revenue laws, registration, stamp duty, and mortgage documentation.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions under timelines.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Engagement

- Contractual engagement for 6 months, extendable based on business requirements and performance.
