Role & responsibilities
- Manage UK/US vendor and carrier relationships for our VoIP/telecom business, including calls, correspondence and follow-ups.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, credit limits, service commitments and renewals within approved limits.
- Draft, review and suggest amendments to MSAs, NDAs, MoUs, SOWs and commercial agreements.
- Identify contractual risks and recommend practical changes.
- Create and maintain KYC forms, onboarding checklists, contract records and renewal trackers.
- Research relevant Ofcom, FCC and Indian regulatory requirements; prepare actionable summaries and coordinate specialist advice where required.
- Support Indian legal matters, including contract disputes, payment recovery, legal notices and settlement discussions.
- Coordinate with external advocates, organise case documents and attend relevant meetings or proceedings as appropriate.
- Work with technical and finance teams on vendor escalations, service issues and billing disputes.
• Take ownership of assigned matters, maintain action trackers and provide proactive updates through completion.
Preferred candidate profile
- LL.B., BA LL.B. or BBA LL.B. from a recognised university is mandatory. LL.M. is an advantage, not a requirement.
- 25 years of relevant professional experience, excluding internships,
with hands-on commercial contract drafting or review.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential, including the ability to lead international vendor calls and write transparent professional correspondence.
- Experience in vendor/client management and commercial or settlement negotiations.
- Working knowledge of Indian contract law, dispute resolution and legal procedure, including BNSS where relevant.
- UK/US-facing work experience and familiarity with VoIP, telecom or carrier relations are preferred.
- Strong legal research, documentation and Word/Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet commitments and follow up without repeated reminders.
- Must be available to work from our Greater Noida office, 1:00 PM–10:00 PM IST, with reliable commute or accommodation arrangements by joining.
- Willingness to support occasional urgent escalations outside regular hours under agreed coverage arrangements, and travel when required.
- Candidates must complete a short English communication, contract review and negotiation assessment.
• Experience limited to internships or litigation without commercial contract exposure does not meet this role’s requirements.
