Role Description The Legal Advisor role at PInterview is a full-time remote position responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the organization. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and drafting contracts, terms of use, privacy policies, and other legal documents related to the platform’s services and partnerships.

The Legal

Advisor will monitor and address legal issues affecting online services, data protection, intellectual property, and user agreements, and recommend risk mitigation measures. This role also involves advising on labor and employment law matters, including contractor and employee agreements, compliance with relevant regulations, and policy updates.

Advisor will collaborate with leadership, product, and operations teams to ensure that business practices remain compliant and aligned with applicable laws in relevant jurisdictions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of Law, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles in a technology and online services context.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and updating contracts, policies, and user agreements.
- Experience identifying and managing Legal Issues related to data privacy, intellectual property, commercial agreements, and online platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to provide transparent, practical Legal Advice to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including compliance with regulations governing remote work, contractor relationships, and hiring practices.
- Law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) from an accredited institution; admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction is preferred.
- Prior experience as in-house counsel or legal advisor for a technology, education, or online platform business is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfort using digital collaboration tools and managing multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
