Core Duties and Responsibilities

- Legal Consultation &
- Advice:

Assess client eligibility for visas, green cards, work permits, and citizenship, recommending the best legal paths. [1, 2, 3, 4]

- Document Preparation &

- Filing:

Accurately draft, complete, and submit petitions, applications, and supporting evidence to immigration authorities. [1, 2]

- Client Representation: Attend official interviews, hearings, and meetings with immigration officers or government agencies on behalf of clients. [1, 2, 3]

- Deportation &

- Removal Defense:

Represent clients facing removal proceedings, building defense strategies and presenting arguments before immigration judges. [1, 2]

- Handling Denials &

- Appeals:

Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), file appeals, or challenge unfavorable administrative decisions. [1, 2, 3]

- Legal Research &

- Updates:

Stay current with rapidly changing immigration policies, legislation, and case precedents. [1, 2]

- Should experience in court or any law firm
