1. Job Purpose

The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning to students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Management and related disciplines. The position requires effective classroom teaching, student mentoring, academic planning, assessment, participation in institutional activities, and contribution to the overall academic development of the institute.
1. Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Academic Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and other academic activities as per the prescribed syllabus and academic calendar.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, case studies, activities, and other learning resources.
- Use appropriate teaching methodologies, including case-based learning, group discussions, presentations, experiential learning, and technology-enabled teaching.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus in accordance with the approved academic plan.
- Conduct internal assessments, assignments, presentations, examinations, and other evaluation activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, internal marks, academic performance, and other required documentation.
- Provide remedial and additional academic support to students who require assistance.

Student Mentoring and Development

- Act as a mentor to assigned students and monitor their academic progress, attendance, discipline, and overall development.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students.
- Encourage students to participate in seminars, competitions, projects, internships, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Support students in developing communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and employability skills.

Research and Professional Development

- Encourage and participate in research, publications, conferences, seminars, workshops,



and faculty development programmes.
- Undertake research and contribute to the academic reputation of the institution.
- Stay updated with developments in management education, industry practices, technology, and emerging business trends.

Institutional Responsibilities

- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, events, orientation programmes, student activities, and institutional initiatives.
- Assist in organising seminars, guest lectures, workshops, conferences, industrial visits, and other academic programmes.
- Support placement, internship, admission, outreach, and other institutional activities as assigned.
- Maintain professional conduct and comply with institutional policies, academic regulations, and administrative procedures.
- Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department or Principal.

1. Educational Qualifications

- Master's degree in Management / Computer science/Languages/Business Administration or a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
- Candidates possessing NET/SET, Ph.D., or other qualifications prescribed by the applicable regulatory/university norms will be preferred.




- Candidates should satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the affiliating university and relevant regulatory authorities.

1. Experience

- Teaching experience in a college, university, business school, or management institute will be preferred.
- Industry experience relevant to the subject area will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with the required academic qualifications and strong teaching aptitude may also be considered, subject to institutional and regulatory requirements.
