About the Consumer Electronics Division :

The Consumer Electronics Business Unit specializes in developing advanced automation solutions for the manufacturing and assembly of consumer electronic products, including audio systems, smart phone components and complete mobile device assembly for leading global smart phone manufacturers.

Role Description:

Leader – Application Engineering (Mechanical): Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in concept engineering, machine layouts, proposal preparation, costing and customer interaction for SPM and consumer electronics projects. The candidate should be capable of leading application engineering activities and developing technical solutions aligned with customer requirements.

· Study customer RFQs, specifications and project requirements.

· Develop machine concepts, layouts and technical solutions for SPM projects.

· Prepare technical proposals, concept drawings, BOMs, assumptions and cost estimates.

· Co.ordinate with Design, Controls, Manufacturing and Sales teams during proposal development.

· Conduct technical discussions with customers and support pre-sales activities.

· Evaluate project risks, feasibility and compliance with customer requirements.

· Lead application engineering activities and mentor junior engineers.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical & Mechatronics

Desired Experience: Above 15 years

Eligibility criteria: Minimum 3 years’ experience required in the current role (mandatory)
