Designation : Lead Software Development Engineer (React)
Job Responsibilities :
● Lead, mentor & manage front end team members
● Lead the design and implementation of scalable front-end architecture for web applications - Dashboards/CMS development, deployment and monitoring phases.
● Evaluate requirements and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured development strategies
● Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
● Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend & QA teams to align technical solutions with business goals
● Integrating APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality
● Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of CMS & web
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate development activities
● Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
● Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement current technologies to maximize development efficiency.
● Perform code reviews
● Setting KPIs and other metrics to measure team performance
● Team management & motivation
Required Skills:
● Prior experience working on consumer-facing products
● 7+ years of experience creating high-performance Dashboards/CMS/web applications using React
● Passionate about frontend development and writing readable and efficient code
● Expert level development skills in HTML5, CSS3 & JS & can rightly judge/implement solutions to complex problems
● Experience writing unit tests using Jest or React Testing Library
● You have hands on experience in cache management
● You have experience building a product using a mainstream library or framework.
● Proficient understanding of ES5/ES6 , JQuery
● Solid understanding of API Integration
● Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
● Good knowledge of server side rendering using template engine
● Experience on debugging UI and web service calls.
● Good understanding of SASS, Grunt
● Experience working on website speed optimisation
● Deep understanding of browser internal working
● Good understanding of SEO principles
● Must have used GIT (Source version control)
● Good understanding of analytics tools such as google analytics, clevertap, etc
● Solid understanding of release management
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivery high-quality results
Desired Skills:
● Experience working with Angular
● Familiarity with automated testing tools including Selenium, Jasmine, and Karma
● Experience integrating payment gateways
● Experience working on AWS
