We are seeking a Lead Software Developer - Java with AWS Cloud to combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering across Java services and AWS Cloud-native microservices. Responsibilities

- Own delivery and accountability for the team’s technology solutions
- Drive technical decision-making by providing thought leadership and guidance
- Explicit technology obstacles from discovery through release
- Collaborate with architects and the CTO organization to follow governance and best practices
- Incorporate functional and non-functional requirements to build high-quality solutions
- Contribute improvements to designs, architectures, and frameworks
- Validate quality of data models, API contracts, architecture, frameworks, and code
- Assist with estimating work, planning, setting priorities, and mapping dependencies
- Foster strong collaboration across teams and key stakeholders
- Apply hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud Native microservices architecture to delivery

Requirements

- Demonstrated 8+ years of experience designing and delivering front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
- Strong expertise in Java, Node.js,



and SpringBoot technologies spanning APIs and microservices
- In-depth experience using AWS Cloud services including ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and Cloudwatch
- Working knowledge of DynamoDB and Aurora database technologies
- Practical skills in agile methodology and usage of API testing tools
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk
- Strong communication and presentation abilities in client-facing settings
- Ability to maintain precision and structure while working in ambiguous situations
- Leadership capability collaborating with teams like Vanguard Database, CTO organization, and API Economy initiatives
- Skill in clarifying technical uncertainty into clear solutions

Nice to have

- Python programming familiarity
- Experience supporting data pipelines in a cloud-native environment
- Ability to build solutions that connect business acumen with API economy
