Responsibilities

- Take ownership of technology solutions and hold accountability for team deliverables
- Provide thought leadership and guide technical decisions across the team
- Resolve and remove technology obstacles throughout the lifecycle
- Collaborate with architects and the CTO organization on governance and best practices
- Build solutions that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements with high quality
- Contribute to improving designs, architectures, and frameworks
- Ensure quality across data models, API contracts, architecture, frameworks, and code
- Support estimation, planning, prioritization, and dependency management
- Lead collaboration across teams and stakeholders to drive outcomes
- Apply hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud Native microservices architecture

Requirements

- Proven 8+ years designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs in production environments
- Hands-on expertise in Java, Node.js,



and SpringBoot technologies focused on APIs and microservices
- Expertise with AWS Cloud services including ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and Cloudwatch
- Solid understanding of databases such as DynamoDB and Aurora
- Experience applying agile methodology and using API testing tools
- Working familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk
- Strong client-facing communication skills with confident presentation ability
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping structure
- Leadership experience collaborating across teams such as Vanguard Database, CTO organization, and API Economy initiatives
- Capability to clarify technical uncertainty and deliver transparent solutions

Nice to have

- Familiarity with Python programming
- Exposure to working with data pipelines in a cloud-native environment
- Ability to build solutions aligning business acumen with API economy
