We are looking for a Lead Software Developer - Java with AWS Cloud to lead hands-on delivery of Java services and AWS Cloud solutions across contemporary platforms. You will steer decisions for front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs while strengthening governance and quality across the cloud ecosystem—apply now.

Responsibilities

- Own the team’s technology solutions and be accountable for end-to-end deliverables
- Provide technical thought leadership and help the team make well-informed choices
- Eliminate technology roadblocks across the full project lifecycle
- Partner with architects and the CTO organization to align on governance and best practices
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into high-quality implementations
- Improve designs, architectures, and frameworks through active contribution
- Ensure quality across data models, API contracts, architecture, frameworks, and code
- Support estimation, planning, prioritization, and dependency identification
- Lead and strengthen collaboration across teams and stakeholders
- Act as a hands-on technologist in AWS Cloud Native microservices architecture

Requirements

- Proven track record of 8+ years designing and building front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
- Solid background in Java, Node.js,



and SpringBoot technologies, including APIs and microservices
- Deep expertise in AWS Cloud services such as ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and Cloudwatch
- Hands-on knowledge of databases like DynamoDB and Aurora
- Practical experience with agile methodology and API testing tools
- Working understanding of monitoring tools like Splunk
- Client-facing communication skills with strong presentation abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to operate in ambiguity while keeping structure
- Demonstrated team leadership collaborating with groups such as Vanguard Database, CTO organization, and API Economy initiatives
- Ability to remove technical fuzziness and deliver clear, actionable solutions

Nice to have

- Familiarity with Python programming
- Ability to work with data pipelines in a cloud-native environment
- Experience building solutions that connect business acumen with API economy
