Role & responsibilities

Purpose of the Position:-

The purpose of this position is to implement and ensure QMS and Methods for the plant by being compliant to systems &

standards, promote problem solving culture, implement plant strategies, oversee & monitor out going product quality through validations in product audits as per requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 26262, IATF 16949, UN/ECE R100,R10, ASPICE (software)

Key Responsibilities

- Define Quality Management System for the Organisation and get relevant certifications e.g ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO

26262 (as applicable)
- Systematic implementation of Quality Management System and Methods and adherence across source , make and

deliver
- Lead Internal and external system audits / certifications
- Define and Implement tools across organization to penetrate problem preventive culture
- Lead moderation of quality gates in project management
- Coordination with External certification agencies - Responsible for needed certifications and permissions from

external agencies with Quality Management System and Methods
- Review Organization level QMS KPIs and systematic improvements




- Product safety & conformity representative

1. Skills & Competencies

- Proficient in Quality Management Systems and Methods
- Proficient in Standards and Guidelines (IATF & BBM Process Compass)
- Certification of IATF 16949 auditor
- Competent with quality and problem solving methods (8D, 5W, Six Sigma / Shainin, KT analysis)

Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of EV powertrain components and processes • Proficient Leadership & entrepreneurial skills • Competence of Project Management Process & Quality Gates

Education : Bachelors degree in engineering in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Automotive engineering. • Certified IATF auditor (mandatory) • Master's in Quality / Operation / Project Management (desirable)

Experience • 12+ years of experience in Automobile Industry (Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Product Quality are preferable) • Experience in QMS, Quality tools, lead Process and System auditor • Prior Team handling experience (desirable)
