? Chennai | Full-time | 5–7 Years Experience

Orthoberry is looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality engineering across BerryStudio, our SaaS Practice Management Platform for orthodontic and dental practices.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who wants to build robust QA processes, automation, and engineering quality—not just execute test cases.

? What You'll Do

- Own the Quality Engineering strategy across the product.
- Design test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, API, E2E, performance, and exploratory testing.
- Build and scale UI & API automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Own API, backend, database, and integration testing.
- Ensure quality across multi-tenant SaaS workflows,



RBAC, patient data, payments, and third-party integrations.
- Drive release quality, regression testing, QA sign-offs, and production validation.
- Lead defect investigation, root-cause analysis, and defect prevention.
- Drive performance, reliability, and security testing.
- Establish quality metrics and continuously improve our QA processes.
- Mentor and guide QA/QE team members.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer Success to build quality into the product from day one.

?️ What We're Looking For

- 5–7 years of QA / Quality Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation.
- Experience with Playwright / Cypress / Selenium.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation.
- Good SQL and database testing experience.
- Experience with Git, Docker, Jenkins/CI-CD.
- Understanding of performance and security testing.
- Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers is a plus.
- Experience with SaaS / healthcare / HIPAA is a strong plus.
