Role Overview:

Were hiring a Quantity Estimator Team Lead with 5 to 8 years of experience in MEP estimation (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for our Banaswadi, Bangalore office. Bluebeam & Planswift software knowledge is must. This role involves leading quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project analysis using tools like AutoCAD or Revit.

You'll collaborate with engineers and project managers, prepare detailed reports, and stay updated on market trends. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and team coordination skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantity Take-offs

- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for all MEP services, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire protection.
- Utilize industry-standard software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in estimates.

1. Cost Estimation

- Develop comprehensive cost estimates factoring in materials, labour, equipment, and other associated costs.
- Prepare cost comparison reports, identifying areas for potential savings.

1. Project Analysis

- Review and analyse project specifications,



architectural & engineering drawings, and other documents to understand the scope of work.
- Identify discrepancies or design issues that may impact cost estimates.

1. Collaboration & Coordination

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Participate in pre-bid and project meetings to understand project goals and constraints.

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support cost estimates and facilitate decision-making.
- Maintain an organized record of estimation activities for future reference and audits.

1. Market Research & Industry Updates

- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and technological advancements in MEP systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to gather up-todate pricing and availability information.

Experience, Skill & Qualifications:

- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in MEP estimation or a similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or specialized MEP estimating tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
