Role & responsibilities

1. COMPETENCY SKILLS

- Process Design of Gas & TEG Dehydration, Gas Sweetening, Molecular Sieve Package, Dew point depression, FPSO and Condensate Stabilization.
- Thermal design of Water Bath Heaters and Convective Heaters Exposure with convection, radiation heat transfer.
- Process Design of Oil, Gas and Water Separation, Sizing of Separators, Knock out drums, Filter Separators, Treaters, Desalters, Incinerators and Tank Sizing.
- Pump Sizing & Line Sizing calculation, Pressure Safety Valve Sizing.
- Process Simulation using Aspen HYSYS.
- Thermal Design of Heat Exchangers by HTRI and Aspen EDR.
- Positive Understanding of Engineering Codes and Standards such as ASME, API, GPSA and NACE.
- Exposure to ISO 9001-2015

2. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

- Understanding the inputs from customer thoroughly and applying them for projects/quotes applicable.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and international codes & standards with respect to the process design.
- Review of quote / project documents in respective functional areas.
- Responsible for maintaining QMS procedure & related documentation with respect their task assigned.
- Explore the possibility of making the product/service as simple as possible without compromising quality, ultimately reducing the costs.
- Explore the possibility of using standard parts as far as possible, to reduce both delivery time and Cost.
- Design the process equipment to meet the customer need and guarantee the equipment operation.
- Responsible for the selection of the material with respect to the chemical reaction of the process stream.
- Responsible for adequacy of the sizing calculation.
- Coordination with the CAD Designing Department for Process related drawings
- Preparation of technical specification of the equipment for bought outs.




- Review and approval of alternates/scope change during the execution of the project within the budgeted cost and with minimal delivery impact
- Managing the general code standards and company engineering Specification.
- Management, technical execution, and completion of engineering assigned tasks in a specific process discipline area.
- Checking and approvi ng all the Process documents, Process Internals drawings and some of Mechanical drawings
- Develop Process Design, simulation and optimization using of major process simulation programs
- Preparation, Reviews and Approvals of BFDs PFDs, P&IDs; and Cause & Effect Diagram.
- Carry out Equipment and Line sizing calculations, Preparation and Review of Data sheets.
- Preparation and Review of Equipment List and Line List.
- Preparation of Equipment Specification and RFQ for the package Vendor
- Provide detailed process engineering input during all design phases including interpretation of standards.
- Participating in plant pre commissioning, commissioning and start-up as well as plant performance tests.
- Review any process design work carried out by third parties (vendors), and to participate in, and in some instances lead from company for, HAZOPs.

Authority:

- Approve process design drawings and documents
- Technical approval for bought out items

Preferred candidate profile 3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (Minimum)

Experience:

- 10 + more years of experience in process design and simulation in the Oil and Gas design field within a large industrial organization.
