Role - Lead Performance Test Engineer

Location- Mumbai

Exp- 9-14Years

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for applications and systems.

· Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis for performance issues.

· Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track performance metrics.

· Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure performance requirements are integrated early in the development lifecycle.

· Document test plans, results, and provide actionable recommendations.

· Integrate test scripts within CI/CD pipelines for effective execution. · Monitor application performance using APM tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic), Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk), providing actionable insights.

· Generate performance reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

· Mentor teams on performance best practices and foster a performance-aware culture.

· Design and document performance testing processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; Software Engineering,



Computer Science degree is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

· Minimum of 8 years of experience in performance engineering or related roles

· Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).

· Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).

· Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Shell).

· Deep understanding of system architecture, networking, and database performance tuning.

· Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) with experience reading logs and viewing usage metrics within (e.g. Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray).

· Exposure making updates and improvements to CICD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Knowledge of APM tools and distributed tracing.

· Relevant certifications in performance testing or cloud technologies.
