Purpose/Objective

The Lead Controls - Manufacturing will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining automation and control systems across manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on improving productivity, quality, equipment reliability, and process efficiency through advanced control systems, PLCs, SCADA, robotics, machine vision, and Industry 4.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of manufacturing control systems.
- Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial automation applications.
- Support commissioning and troubleshooting of automated production equipment.
- Drive integration of robotics, machine vision systems, sensors, and industrial networks.
- Monitor plant automation performance and implement continuous improvements.
- Ensure seamless communication between manufacturing equipment and MES/ERP systems.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation-related issues.




- Develop preventive maintenance strategies for control systems.
- Collaborate with process, quality, maintenance, and production teams to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cyber security, and industry standards.
- Lead automation projects related to recent product introduction, capacity expansion, and process optimization.
- Mentor and guide automation and controls engineers within the team.
