URGENT Requirement: Long term Third-Party Contractual Requirement (through Zeppelin)

- Position Title : Lead Instrument & Telecom Commissioning Engineer - Mumbai Office
- Work Location: Mumbai Office & Offshore Northwestern Europe
- Total Contract Duration: - 2 to 3 Years / Till client requirement
- Project Details: High voltage direct current
- Expected Mobilization: 30-Sept-2026

Position Summary Responsible for execution, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization support and system handover of all Instrumentation, Control, Telecom, SCADA and communication systems associated with High Voltage Direct current offshore substations and onshore converter station interfaces.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8-12 years commissioning experience in offshore oil & gas, offshore wind or High Voltage Direct Current projects.
- Experience with offshore substations, converter stations or large industrial facilities.
- Solid knowledge of IEC, DNV, NEN project requirements.
- Experience working offshore and multi-disciplinary commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute commissioning activities for Instrumentation, Telecom, Fire & Gas, SCADA, CCTV, PAGA, Access Control, Weather Monitoring and communication systems.
- Review engineering documents, datasheets, P&IDs;, cable schedules, loop drawings and vendor manuals.
- Develop commissioning procedures, test packs,



ITRs and system completion dossiers.
- Perform loop checks, calibration verification, functional testing and integrated system testing.
- Coordinate with High Voltage Direct Current, electrical, mechanical and control system vendors.
- Support FAT, SAT, offshore hook-up, commissioning and energization activities.
- Verify interfaces with Client control system and Client operational requirements.
- Manage punch list clearance and system handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PTW systems and project procedures.

Scope of Systems Telecom Network, Fiber Optic Systems, CCTV, PAGA, Telephone Systems, Access Control, SCADA Interfaces, Integrated Control & Monitoring System, Fire & Gas System, Meteorological Systems, Navigation Aids, Synchronization and Time Systems.

Technical Competencies

Loop checking, instrument calibration, network testing, fiber optic testing, SCADA integration, protocol verification, telecom system testing, PAGA testing, FAT/SAT participation, system completion and turnover management.

Deliverables

Commissioning Procedures, ITRs, Test Reports, Red-Line Markups, Punch Lists, System Completion Certificates, Mechanical Completion Support, Energization Readiness Reports and Handover Dossiers.
