- Azure Storage (Durable Functions Task Hub). Design and build the nightly ingestion pipeline as an Azure Durable Function (C#/.NET): an orchestrator plus fan-out/fan-in activity functions that connect to the mainframe’s SFTP/FTP location, download and decode each of the files, stage them in Azure SQL, and trigger the referential-integrity join. Implement the set-based join/validation logic as Azure SQL stored procedures,



invoked from the Durable Function’s fan-in activity, enforcing referential integrity. Build the version-promotion and cache-preload logic as a reusable Durable Functions sub-orchestrator, invocable both automatically (as the last step of nightly ingestion) and independently (after a manual config/rules update), implementing an atomic version-pointer-flip pattern in both Azure SQL and Redis. Design and normalize the Azure SQL schema for the Reference Data store and the separate Config & Rules store, including versioned/effective-dated columns and formulas stored as parse able expression strings.
