Job Summary

UST is looking for Data Engineer with strong expertise in database development, data integration, ETL processes, and enterprise reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, Informatica PowerCenter, query optimization, data quality, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, CTEs, and window functions.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and integration.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and performance analysis.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot database and ETL issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide L2/L3 production support.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Support incident management and production deployments.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in SQL and ETL development.
- Advanced SQL development skills.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or IBM DB2.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Robust knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with JasperReports/JasperServer or similar reporting platforms.
- Experience with Git and production support/L2-L3 incident management.
- Basic knowledge of Python.




- Exposure to Azure and cloud technologies.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
- Azure certification or hands-on Azure exposure.
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, Education, or other enterprise application environments.
