Job Title: Lead Faculty - Monitoring & Evaluation

Position Overview The Lead Faculty – Monitoring & Evaluation will lead and support Muktangan’s monitoring, evaluation, data management, and reporting processes. The role will generate meaningful insights from program data to strengthen program quality, support evidence-based decision-making, ensure accountability, and promote organizational learning.

Reports to: CEO

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Compile, clean, analyze, and interpret teacher appraisal data to generate school-wise, project-wise, and subject-wise reports.
- Analyze student assessment data and develop reports to support program review, improvement, and donor reporting.
- Develop and maintain monthly organizational dashboards tracking key program and operational indicators across departments and partnership programs for review by the CEO and Board.
- Prepare periodic data summaries, presentations, and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain databases and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely availability of M&E; data.

2. Monitoring & Evaluation

- Lead the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems across Muktangan’s programs and projects.
- Design and coordinate baseline, midline, and endline studies for outreach and partnership projects.
- Track key program indicators and document progress against project objectives and outcomes.
- Coordinate data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting across departments.
- Present findings and insights to support program review, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

3. MEL Framework & Quality Assurance

- Support the development and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) frameworks for programs and projects.




- Develop and maintain data collection tools, monitoring formats, reporting templates, and documentation systems.
- Conduct regular data quality checks and support teams in maintaining reliable and consistent data.
- Contribute to organizational learning by documenting key findings, lessons, and good practices.

4. Capacity Building & Community Research

- Conduct capacity-building sessions on community research for Grade 10 alumni.
- Guide participants in research design, data collection, documentation, analysis, and presentation of findings.
- Support the use of community research to understand local issues and generate actionable insights.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Master’s degree in Education, Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, or related fields.

Experience:

5–7 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, data analysis, or data management, preferably in the education or non-profit sector.

Required Competencies

- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience in designing data collection tools and managing databases.
- Strong report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Commitment to using evidence to improve programs and outcomes.





Remuneration Pay Band: commensurate with qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
