Lead ESG will be responsible for driving the organization’s ESG strategy, framework, and implementation across the vehicle finance business. The role will ensure integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations into lending, operations, and risk management, while aligning with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibility

Areas

- Develop and implement the organization’s ESG strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Establish ESG policies, governance structures, and internal frameworks tailored to vehicle/asset finance.
- Integrate ESG considerations into credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management processes.
- Monitor evolving ESG regulations and frameworks and translate them into actionable policies.
- Embed ESG risk assessment in lending decisions (e.g., borrower profiling, asset categories, sector exposure).
- Identify and monitor climate risks, social risks, and governance risks within the portfolio.
- Develop ESG scorecards or risk-rating methodologies
- Define ESG metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for internal monitoring and external reporting.




- Oversee ESG data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
- Drive automation and system integration for ESG tracking and disclosures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive ESG initiatives.
- Build ESG awareness across the organization through training and communication programs.

Qualifications

- 4 plus years of experience in ESG, sustainability, risk, or strategy roles • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Sustainability, Economics, Business, or related field
- Experience in NBFCs, banks, consulting firms, or ESG advisory preferred
- Any related Certifications can be an added advantage Desired Competencies
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability principles, and responsible finance
- Experience in building governance structures and policies
- Ability to drive multiple ESG initiatives simultaneously
- Solid presentation and reporting skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to align business growth with environmental and social responsibility
