About the Role

Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Engineer - NOC to support and manage critical network operations across our ISP and enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ISP core networks, MPLS, broadband technologies, service assurance, and incident management, with the ability to proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure high network availability.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Preferred Certifications

- Cisco: CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
- Juniper: JNCIA / JNCIS
- Huawei: HCIA / HCIP
- Nokia: NRS-I / NRS-II

Experience Required Minimum 5 years of experience in ISP Network Operations with proven expertise in troubleshooting and managing:

- BNG Platforms
- BGP & MPLS Networks
- GPON Broadband Services
- Enterprise Connectivity Services
- Solid understanding of:
- ISP Core Networks
- Internet Gateways
- Service Assurance Operations
- Broadband and Enterprise Service Delivery

Key Responsibilities Network Monitoring & Incident Management

- Monitor network performance using NMS and other monitoring tools.
- Detect, analyze, and respond to alarms, faults, and service-impacting incidents.
- Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting and ensure timely escalation of complex issues.
- Maintain incident logs and prepare detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
- Service Assurance & Troubleshooting




- Monitor and troubleshoot Broadband Network Gateway (BNG), AAA, PCRF, DHCP, CGNAT, DNS, and related management platforms.
- Analyze customer session failures, authentication issues, and service degradation.
- Ensure service uptime and compliance with operational SLAs.
- Core Network Operations
- Conduct health checks on:
- Core Routers and Switches
- MPLS Network Infrastructure
- Internet Gateways
- Peering Links
- Caching Servers
- DWDM Transport Networks

- Track bandwidth utilization, identify congestion risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Enterprise Services Management
- Monitor and support Leased Line (ILL), SD-WAN, and Enterprise Broadband services.
- Coordinate fault isolation between customer premises, access networks, and core network teams.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer-facing service issues.
- Security & Compliance
- Continuously monitor network security alerts and vulnerabilities.
- Support initiatives to strengthen network security and operational resilience.
- Adhere to established operational processes, standards, and best practices.
