The Lead BIM will be responsible for establishing and managing BIM processes for the Infrastructure Design Team of the Dharavi Redevelopment Project. The position will lead multidisciplinary model coordination across roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, water supply, electrical networks, public spaces and associated infrastructure systems.

The role will ensure accurate and coordinated digital design delivery, clash-free models, adherence to BIM standards, constructability review and seamless exchange of information among internal design teams, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders. The position will also support GIS integration, asset information management, visualization and digital twin readiness, wherever required by the project.

1. Lead BIM implementation for infrastructure planning, design coordination and construction support across the Dharavi Redevelopment Project.
2. Develop and maintain the project BIM strategy, BIM Execution Plan, model development standards, naming conventions, information requirements and Common Data Workplace protocols.
3. Manage multidisciplinary BIM models covering roads, bridges, utilities, water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, electrical networks, ICT systems, public spaces and other infrastructure components.
4. Coordinate BIM inputs from internal design teams, consultants, contractors and specialist agencies to ensure consistency, accuracy and interoperability.

Conduct multidisciplinary model reviews and clash-detection exercises, and facilitate timely closure of identified design conflicts.
6. Ensure alignment of BIM models with approved drawings, design calculations, specifications, site conditions and project requirements.
7. Support constructability reviews, design sequencing, quantity validation, interface management and resolution of site-related design issues.
8. Coordinate closely with the Master Planning, Architecture, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure, ICT and Project Execution teams to deliver integrated designs.
9. Establish model review schedules, coordination workflows, approval protocols and issue-tracking mechanisms.
10. Monitor model maturity and compliance with the approved Level of Development and project information requirements at each design stage.
11. Manage the Common Data Environment and ensure appropriate document control, revision management, access control and information exchange.
12. Develop dashboards, visualizations, simulations and digital presentations for design reviews, management discussions and stakeholder communication.
13. Facilitate GIS and BIM integration for spatial coordination, utility mapping,



asset identification and infrastructure planning, wherever applicable.
14. Support the preparation of coordinated construction models, as-built models and structured asset information for project handover and operational use.
15. Ensure interoperability and efficient data exchange across Autodesk, Bentley, GIS and other project technology platforms.
16. Identify BIM-related design, coordination and implementation risks and ensure timely mitigation and escalation.
17. Track BIM deliverables, resource deployment, consultant performance and adherence to agreed project timelines.
18. Provide technical guidance and capability development to BIM Coordinators, Modelers, consultants and project team members.
19. Represent the organization in BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, technology partners and other stakeholders.
20. Ensure compliance with applicable BIM standards, contractual requirements, statutory provisions and organizational governance protocols.

21. Qualifications

Essential
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, Geomatics or a related discipline.
- Formal training or certification in BIM, Digital Engineering or Construction Technology.

Desirable
- Master’s degree in Infrastructure Planning, Construction Management, Digital Engineering, BIM or a related field.
- Professional certification in Autodesk, Bentley, buildingSMART or an equivalent BIM platform or standard.
