About This Opportunity

Job Title: Lead Analyst - Strategic Sourcing

Location: Bangalore The Lead Analyst - Strategic Sourcing is responsible for leading enterprise sourcing initiatives, category strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization programs across multiple spend categories. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, this role leverages market intelligence, commercial insights, and data-driven analysis to deliver sustainable value, mitigate risks, and drive procurement excellence. The position partners closely with business stakeholders and leadership while mentoring junior team members and leading cross-functional sourcing projects.

Strategic Sourcing Experience:

§ Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple indirect spend categories.

§ Drive end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives including supplier identification, RFx management, bid evaluation, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contracting.

§ Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by providing procurement expertise and strategic recommendations.

§ Lead sourcing projects with a focus on value creation, cost optimization, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and business continuity.

§ Influence sourcing decisions through fact-based insights, market intelligence, and commercial expertise.

Category, Supplier Enablement and Relationship Management:

§ Develop and execute category management strategies that support long-term business growth and procurement objectives.





§ Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key business stakeholders.

§ Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial health, market positioning, and performance metrics to support sourcing decisions.

§ Drive Supplier Onboarding, Risk Management and Contract Compliances.

§ Drive supplier performance management, governance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

§ Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, demand management, and supplier-led innovation.

Commercial & Contract Management

§ Lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing, service levels, contractual protections, and business outcomes.

§ Partner with legal and business stakeholders in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, statements of work, and commercial agreements.

§ Ensure contractual compliance and proactively manage supplier obligations, risks, and performance commitments.

§ Provide commercial guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies, contractual terms, and sourcing best practices.

Cost Optimization & Analytics

§ Lead Sourcing Spend analysis initiatives to identify savings opportunities, process efficiencies, and sourcing optimization opportunities.

§ Develop and review advanced financial models, should-cost analyses, total cost of ownership (TCO) models, and sourcing business cases.

§ Analyse market trends, inflationary pressures, commodity movements, and supplier cost drivers to support business decisions.

§ Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value engineering initiatives across assigned categories.

§ Present data-driven recommendations and executive-level insights to support strategic decision making.

Procurement Transformation & Continuous Improvement

§ Drive procurement excellence through process standardization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

§ Champion best practices in sourcing, supplier management, analytics, and procurement governance.

§ Leverage procurement technologies and tools, including Oracle, GEP, Power BI, and AI-enabled solutions, to improve operational effectiveness.

§ Support implementation of new procurement processes, systems, and organizational initiatives.

§ Lead initiatives focused on improving procurement KPIs, compliance, stakeholder experience, and overall sourcing effectiveness.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

§ Act as a procurement subject matter expert within the Strategic Sourcing organization.

§ Mentor and coach Analysts and Senior Analysts, fostering capabilitydevelopment and knowledge sharing.

§ Lead cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

§ Build strong partnerships with Enterprise Stakeholder Teams such as Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, HR, IT, and Business Unit leaders.

§ Communicate sourcing strategies, project outcomes, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Experience in Strategic Souring, Contracts, Drafting SOW/ Preparing, Vendor Enablement and Risk Management

§ Executive summary and Negotiation.





§ Communication and presentation skills are required.

§ Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite skills.

§ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and advanced analytics tools.

§ Strong experience with Oracle, GEP Smart, SAP Ariba, Coupa, SAP, or related procurement platforms.

§ Customer and service centric mind set, placing the user at the heart of the solution.

§ Able to multi-task and respond quickly and effectively to the challenges faced in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, able to plan and prioritize workload.

Education & Experience:

- 8-12 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement and Contracting
- Any Graduation with relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and complex supplier negotiations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and procurement transformation initiatives.
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders and managing strategic supplier relationships.
- Experience working in global or multi-regional sourcing environments preferred.
